Terms & Conditions
- All information give to us is protected on our online system for data protection in accordance with the GDPR. If you wish to update details or remove them please ask. Once a student has stopped attending classes details are completely removed from our system.
- Payments are all termly fees and are non-refundable. We may on occasion offer a refund in the case of an extreme circumstance such as long term illness. This will be at our discretion and may incur admins fees.
- Cancelled classes will either be rescheduled or refunds given back if class can not be rearranged.
- If you miss class due to holiday or short term sickness we can not refund these missed classes.
- Late pick up charges apply. If late picking up your child a £5 fee applies for those who are 5-15 minutes late. Then a £10 charge extra will apply for every 15 minutes after. A reoccurrence in lateness will result in losing your dance place.
- Late class fee charges apply. If your over two weeks late on your class payment (see deadline on invoice) a £5 late fee will be applied to your invoice on top of the outstanding payment and if not paid by the students following lesson they will be removed from classes. To re-join an extra £5 will be applied to invoice on top of outstanding payment to be paid before they will be allowed to return.
Privacy Policy:
- As stated in our safe guarding policy, all members of staff must agree to the data protection policy prior to accepting a contract of employment.
- Identity Dance regular share photos/videos of student in workshops, events and performances through social media platforms including; Facebook, Twitter, E-mail. These will never be shared with any identifying information but there may be times where we will share their first names but only with parents approval/consent.
- Identity Dance often use footage/photos used from shows, performances and classes for marketing purposes both in print media and the website. Participants/their parent and/or guardian may choose if they do not wish themselves/their child to be depicted.
- Identity dance customers and participants supply their personal data when signing up for classes through our online registration form via the website. This is either completed by a parent/guardian or the child themselves if they deemed able to do so. Information collected on our database (membermeister) follows the new GDPR laws and all information asked for can be removed at any time when requested. If a member is no longer attending our classes we will remove their details.
- Our policy has been written in line with legislative change, including both the data protection act (1998) and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
